Why This Matters
Behind every number is a person trying to cope, recover, and feel less alone.
Mental health challenges affect people across every age, background, and profession. Mind reports that 1 in 4 people in England experience a mental health problem each year, and around 1 in 5 report a common mental health problem such as anxiety or depression in any given week.
That means people in our own community, on our teams, and in our families are often carrying more than we can see. Herd Impact exists because we believe business growth should also create human support.
We commit 2.5% from every paid subscription, and we make it easy for members to add extra donations. It is a practical way to say: you are not alone, and we all have a part to play in helping one another.
How Mind helps people right now
- Mind provides information and support through helplines and local Minds across England and Wales.
- In 2023 to 2024, Mind answered 122,000 support and information helpline queries.
- Mind mental health information was accessed 25.3 million times in 2023 to 2024.
- Mind reports that 83p from every pound spent goes to supporting people with mental health problems.
We are building Herd to be commercially strong and emotionally responsible. If each of us contributes a little, together we can fund more support, more signposting, and more moments where someone gets help when they need it most.
