The short version
Kitly is a strong, narrow product: a trustworthy media kit and a light collaboration tracker, at a price that is hard to argue with. Herd is a much wider system that also papers the deal, sends the invoice and pays the commission. Pick Kitly if reporting is the job. Pick Herd if the money has to move.
Kitly is run from Sydney, Australia, with a London office. It suits creators who want an audited, mobile-first media kit and nothing else, and agencies who mainly need roster reporting rather than deal paperwork and payouts.
Herd is a UK product with three sides in one account. Creators run content, deals, contracts and invoices. Brands run campaigns, review content and pay creator invoices by card. Agencies run a roster with commission splits and white-label client portals. Herd costs from £99/month for creators, billed in pounds. That breadth is the whole trade: Herd covers more of the week, and in a few places it covers it less thoroughly than Kitly does.
Feature by feature
Every line in the Herd column is a feature that works today. The Kitly column is what its own site and the listings we read showed on 21 September 2026: a dash means we could not find the feature there, and a plan name in the Herd column is the plan the feature starts on.

Where Kitly is stronger
Nothing below is a concession for the sake of looking fair. These are the parts of Kitly that Herd either does not have or does less well, and if one of them is the deciding factor for you, buy Kitly.
- Audited first-party platform data in the media kit, pulled through API connections rather than typed in.
- A mobile-first app, where Herd is a desktop-first web product.
- Kitly Business reports more than 17,000 managed creators, according to Influencer Marketing Hub, with an established base of Australian and UK agencies.
- Far cheaper for a creator who only needs a media kit: $19 a month against £99.
What Herd adds
The other direction. These are jobs Herd covers that we could not find in Kitly's published feature list when we checked on 21 September 2026, taken from the same list as the table above, plus the differences in how the two are priced. Some of them sit on the higher Herd plans, and the pricing below says which.
- No content calendar and no publishing to Instagram, Facebook, TikTok or X.
- No Gmail or Outlook inbox and no video meetings.
- No contracts with e-signature and no proposals with an accept or decline.
- No video editor.
- Kitly Business does not process payments, so commission and payouts happen elsewhere.
- No brand side, so a campaign invitation cannot go out and come back on the same record.

What people say
We have no data of our own on how Kitly treats its customers, and no opinion to add. What follows is a summary of public reviews as they stood on 21 September 2026, each linked to its source so you can read them and make your own mind up. Review scores move, so check the source rather than this page.
Influencer Marketing Hub’s review describes the interface as clunky with little guidance on getting started, and notes that the platform fee on payments sits on top of Stripe’s own fees.

Media kit
A page a brand can read before they reply
The media kit is a live page rather than a PDF that goes stale in a download folder. It takes its per-network numbers from the accounts you have connected, sits next to your rate card, and keeps the same link when you update it.
- A public page at herduk.co.uk/yourname with per-network figures from your connected accounts.
- A rate card of priced packages you can share, and proposals built from those same packages.
- You decide when it goes public, and the link does not change afterwards.
Herd and Kitly, asked and answered
- No, not for a creator. Kitly Creator is $19 a month and Herd Starter is £99. For an agency the gap narrows in a different way: Kitly Business is $99 a month for 25 creators, while Herd Agency is £1,999 a month for an unlimited roster with commission payouts and client portals.
- Kitly Business does not process payments, so invoicing, commission and payouts happen in another system. Herd Agency runs invoicing and commission splits through Stripe Connect, and the commission is taken out of the payment rather than chased afterwards.
- Kitly pulls audited first-party platform data, which is a real advantage when a brand questions a number. Herd builds the kit from your connected accounts and puts it on a public profile at herduk.co.uk/yourname, alongside your rate card and proposals.
- For most agencies, yes, and it adds the parts Kitly Business leaves out: contracts, proposals, invoicing, commission payouts and white-label client portals. What you give up is Kitly’s audited data and its mobile app.
